Probably either a XS or XSi, maybe something else if I can find a good deal on used stuff. Back at college, and ready for a good year

Fri Sep 25, 2009, 3:20 PM
Well I'm all settled in back at Cal Poly Pomona, got my classes (barely) and ready to have a good year. Still am camera less since my powershot decided to stop focusing...and going to be a while till I get the $ for a DSLR. But I did just complete one piece of art of a few centered around the eye of horus. So I'll get those uploaded soon, and be uploading a little more regularly.

At Death's Doorstep

Fri Jul 10, 2009, 7:35 PM
So today I witness my grandma past away at 98. It was a very peaceful even with almost all of her living children around her (one son was driving there). Even though when I was finally old enough to appreciate her age she was past the point where I could benefit from it. But today she defiantly helped me out with the one thing that no one else has or could before. How to deal with death especially when it happens right in front of your face. The only thing I could have hope for different is that I could have heard more stories from her life.

Well on art related topics, I got a freelance design job in Redding for a bike shop that is opening up and stoked on that. And since I've been working at Marin Sierra I haven't had any time to work on art since photog is out of the question since my camera broke a few months ago. :(

Oh well it's been an interesting summer so far.
